ASBURY PARK, NJ (JANUARY 30, 2019) –  With the release of his sixth studio album, singer, songwriter and musician, Josh Zuckerman will hit the stage at The Saint in Asbury Park, NJ on February 16, 2019 at 9 p.m. with two guest band members from a most iconic 80’s band. The new album marks the most ambitious project by Zuckerman influenced by, collaborated and masterfully recorded with legendary drummer Thommy Price and bassist Gary Ryan of  Joan Jett and The Blackhearts.  Mastered by Tom Ruff at Asbury Media, mixed and co-produced by Steve Jankowski at Jankland Recording, “Gone With The Music” is a new 10 track album of original lyrics and music composition written and produced by Josh Zuckerman.

As stated by Michael Cook of Out In Jersey on November 8, 2018, “From his infectious stage presence to his lyrics that are relatable to practically everyone, whenever Zuckerman releases music, it’s always a Garden State event.”  Never an artist to stand still, since 2002 Josh Zuckerman has performed his original music at hundreds of venues, clubs, events and concerts from North America to Europe. He began his “Gone With The Music” tour in Long Branch, NJ and in December 2018 rocked New England venues.

In 2018, Josh Zuckerman made a dream come true by collaborating and recording with two of his most influential musicians.  Thommy Price was the drummer on the hit “I hate myself for loving you” and has remained a drummer with Joan Jett and The Blackhearts for over 30 years. He was also a member of Billy Idol's band, Scandal and Flame.  Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, bassist Gary Ryan, was an original member of  Joan Jett and the Blackhearts and played on various hits from “I love rock and roll” to “Bad Reputation” and so many more.

Even more, the studio band of brilliant New Jersey-based members included: internationally acclaimed lead guitarist Jimmy Leahey from the Dennis DeYoung of Styx tour, guitarist Matt O’Ree, Saxophonist Michael Ghegan, Evan Shea on Keyboard and percussion along with Michael Gilbert Ronstadt on Cello.

Guest vocals on the album were performed by New Jersey acclaimed Christine Martucci, Lisa Sherman, Layonne Holmes, Melissa Jones, CUMC Chancel Choir, Michael Smitty Smith and Nicholas Rocco DeFinis.

As stated in 2014 by Desmond Child,  “Josh Zuckerman is a brilliant songwriter...” and this album continues to build upon that reputation.  Each track has been cultured to rock the listener’s senses and pursue, with Josh, the quest for self-acceptance and spiritual growth through life’s unique challenges. The band’s years of experience shines and doesn’t disappoint. “If you’re up for the ride, Zuckerman will give you a breathlessly wild one.” - Indie-Music.com
